2010 Green Choice Consumer Action.pdf

34 NGOs including IPE have launched Green Choice Consumer Action 2010. The NGOs listed some 20 major consumer brands owned by mainland, Taiwanese and foreign companies, calling for consumers to pay attention to their records of violations.

We sent them letters reminding them to make public disclosure of their corrective action plans and discharge data before we published the list. Up till February 12 five companies have made communications with NGOs and two have provided documents to explain what happened and how they tried to fix their problems. The documents can be found at /news/index.jsp.
